Gmail Promotions Fix
If you use Gmail, e-mail messages from the PTA might be automatically placed in the “Promotions” folder rather than your “Inbox.” Here are two ways to prevent this behavior:
If you do not use the “Promotions” feature of Gmail, disable it:

- Click the Settings icon (cogwheel) in the top right corner of the Gmail window;
- Select "Configure Inbox”;
- Deselect the "Promotions" tab and click Save.
If you would like to continue to use the “Promotions” feature of Gmail, create a filter:
- Click the Settings icon (cogwheel) in the top right corner of the Gmail
- Select "Settings”;
- At the top of the page, click on the tab “Filters and Blocked Addresses”;
- In the middle of the page, click “Create a new filter”;
- In the “From” field, type: “@tagscholarspta.org” and click “Create filter”;
- At bottom of window, click “Categorize as” and select the “Primary” category;
- Click “Create filter.”
